The original guide was a mobile app that vanished when the old site went dark. These are the same seven recordings, restored and playable straight from this page — no install, no account, no signal required once loaded.
Walk the site in order
Start at the car park and press play. Each stop tells you where to go next, so you can keep the phone in your pocket between them.
Signal is patchy on the ridge. Use the download arrow beside each stop to save the recordings to your phone before you set off — then they play whether or not you have a signal.

The Four Platforms
The observatory is organised around four levelled surfaces cut into the rock. This stop explains what each one was for before you go looking for them.
Ritual Pits & Stone Circles
Around a hundred pits were packed into natural fissures, and low rings of stone were built on the summit. Both were filled with offerings and sealed.

The north-slope platform. Its marker catches the spring and autumn equinox sunrise — and, four thousand years ago, the rising of Aldebaran.
